Fenna Oosterhoff is fascinated by proportions and the patterns and textures which occur in nature. The tactile value of a product is important. That’s why she love ceramics, because this material creates the opportunity to play with textures and surfaces. This sense of tactility is translated in the finish and sometimes also in the form of my designs.  Small-scale manufacturing is prefered, because the attention during manufacturing is visible in the product. In this world of mass-production, Fenna Oosterhoff like to make modest products.
