During the retreat there will be moments when we will work as a group with movement and body language. Working with the body helps to ground and to experience what lives in us. Among (Christian) women, we believe there is an increasing need to express ourselves through the body, to experience what we long for and to allow the Holy Spirit and God's love into it. With this retreat we want to give space to that.With stretching you may recognize certain movements as yoga. We deliberately do not use the term yoga, but prefer to call it stretch in faith. We invite God into the movement. It is not so much about the technique of the movement, but more about being present in our body and meeting God there.

Below we give an example of a weekend retreat. The days have roughly the same structure and every day there is something new to experience.Meals are shared. In addition, we ensure that there is enough space and time for everyone's own needs (walking, resting, drinking a nice coffee, a conversation, etc). We prepare healthy, vegetarian meals, we provide a tasty snack and a glass of wine with dinner. We cook low carb as much as possible. If you have specific allergies, please let us know.

The weekend retreats take place at the top of the province of North Holland, on the Wadden Sea! A nice place to enjoy nature, walking or sunbathing. We hold day retreats in Stoutenburg, near Amersfoort. A nice location in the forest, where you can park for free. After payment you will receive all details from us.

This is a 4-day retreat and we expect everyone to be there from start to finish. In the unlikely event that you have to join later or leave earlier, we will provide space for this, but the payment is for the entire retreat.
